The complete staff, especially Dan, Melanie, Annalyse and Greg treated us like family. Everything was very personal, empathetic and compassionate. Dan spent a lot of time with us pre-planning and assisting us to pre-pay for my dad's funeral and service. Annalyse and Greg helped us through the planning and completion of all the actual funeral services. Their compassion approach and personal interest was both comforting and efficient. We always felt in good hands and being cared for during an emotional time. All the small things mattered, The placement of the US flag on my dad's casket, the honor guard at the cemetery, the choice of music during the viewing and the reel of pictures during the viewing made the funeral services very personal. I was so impressed with the quality of work provided by Halpin-Bitecola. Their staff worked with me during the death of my brother, (and before that) from helping us set up a burial annuity, to their very kind phone call by Melanie when learning of my brother's passing, to taking care of everything including transporting the body, the wake, burial, submission of his obituary and coordinating the church services. Their parlor was lit very pleasantly and laid out in a way that was comfortable and homey. They were always available to help with any questions or concerns. I particularly was moved by their excellent attention to all details and the very kind, respectful way we were treated, which I felt was genuinely motivated by an authentic desire to do a quality job.
