Janet Shallcross
January 1, 1931 — January 23, 2019
Janet Shallcross, of Bloomfield, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019. She was 87 years old.
Janet worked as a food service representative in the Montclair school system for most of her life until she retired.
She was an avid animal lover, adored gardening, and enjoyed working on her puzzles.
Janet leaves behind a son, Kevin (Ann); four daughters - Kathy, Kim, Kelly (Tom), and Kolleen. As well as a brother, Tom; and three sisters – Rosemary, Corrine (Richard), and Dianne. Janet also leaves behind seven grandchildren – Julie, Gina, Christopher, Eric, Jessica, Anastasia, and Michael. As well as four great-grandchildren – Danielle, Ariana, Tyler, and Tanner. She also leaves behind her dearest friend Richie.
A Memorial Service will be held from 12-4 pm on Friday, January 25th, 2019 at Brix Restaurant and Pizza Bar, 371 Franklin Ave, Belleville NJ 07109.
Memorial donations in Janet’s name may be made to the ASPCA.
