Obituary
Rosa Carandang, 74, passed away on January 29, 2023 in New York, NY. Rosa was born in the Philippines. She was a nurse and retired from the Lyons VA Medical Center after working as a nurse for many years. She enjoyed playing golf - including with the Thursday Womens group in Essex County, traveling, caring for her grandchildren and spending time with her family and close friends. She was involved in the Philippine Golf Association of NY and the Filipino Golf Association. She was also active in the St. Thomas the Apostle Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all friends and family but especially Josephine Cabildo, Milette Padilla and Rosas care teams at Memorial Sloan Kettering for making her passing as peaceful and comfortable as possible for her.
