Mary Attalla

On Wednesday July 27, 2022, Mary Attalla passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 89. She was born and raised in East Orange, N.J., where she grew up with her brother and sister before moving to Bloomfield, N.J., where she lived with her husband and son for many years prior to retiring to Millsboro, DE and ultimately Toms River, N.J. Mary was an active member of the Columbiettes and other organizations. She enjoyed working on various craft projects, bowling, cooking, and praying for others. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles, parents, Gerard and Ethel, and brother Louis. She is survived by her son Frank, his wife Debi and their sons Zachary and Matthew; Sister Loretta and numerous nieces and nephews, who all adored their Aunt Mary. Friends and family may visit from 2 - 6 pm, Sunday July 31st, at Halpin-Bitecola Funeral Home, located at 1284 Broad Street, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday August 1st, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in E. Hanover.
