Mr. Grosso was one of those active fathers involved with Boy Scout Troop 22 at St. Thomas. He was always helping out with our camping trips: driving us up to Camp Tamarack, dealing with the logistical equipment issues. He was a familiar face.<br>Later, when I was dating his daughter Annamaria in high school, he always treated me with as much respect as a 17 year old deserved.<br>Last week. as I was considering visiting my friend Stephen Marcopoto, St Thomas classmate and fellow Boy Scout with me and Michael Grosso, whose mom Rose,97, is just a few blocks away, I thought about stopping in at Sylvan Road and saying hello to Mr. Grosso, not knowing if he was still there. <br>Jim Mullin
