Haydee Quinones
January 01, 1942 - April 05, 2022
Obituary
The beloved Haydee Quinones passed away on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022 in Montclair, NJ. She meets her mother, Dolores, her father Bautista, her sister Isabel and her brother, Raul, peacefully in heaven. Haydee was born on December 28th, 1942 (79) in Ponce, Puerto Rico. However, in adulthood she relocated to Perth Amboy, New Jersey, where she raised her children, and grandchildren. Haydee lived for family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. For her family, Haydee was always just a phone call away, she was never too busy to give mentoring advice, to listen to a heartfelt story or to make you laugh with a funny joke. Haydee welcomed everyone into her home with a cup of Caf Bustelo or a plate of her amazing food. She was an amazing cook and loved to feed everyone around her. Those who know her will remember her by their first bites of her flavorful food, and her salsa music playing close by. Haydee will be forever missed by her loving children; Jose, Isabel, Rosario, and Angela. Her children in law; Laurinda and Michael. Her sisters; Lydia, and Norma. A legacy in her grandchildren; Elyse, Maya, Myles, and Miguelito. Haydee will be cherished in the memories of all who had the pleasure to meet and know her. She will be missed dearly. Other NJ

Everyone who knows Rosario has heard one of her anecdotes where she vividly speaks of Mother’s life experience. Her reflection is often funny, touching and at times, scary (Mom did not come to play!). I think I understand motherhood so much more when I think of Mrs. Quinone’s child rearing which consisted of unconditional love, sacrifice, and wisdom. I only met her once, but I know her daughter; therefore I know her. Job Well Done!
May you Rest in Eternity !
Mellanee
