Richard Barnes

Richard B. Barnes (Dick), age 93, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Born in East Orange, raised in Newark and graduated from Valparaiso University. Dick joined the Navy and served until 1946. He married Lucy Tiberio in 1958 and lived in Bloomfield. He worked as a Public Fire Adjuster for Sarasohn Co. and in later years owned his own business. He was also a member of FHFC for 53 years and was an avid golfer. Richard leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Lucy; daughter, Suzanne; son, Richard (Linda); son, Timothy (Alison); as well as eight grandchildren; Kyle (Nadia) Flannery, Erin (Shawn) Geiger, Hunter, Summer and Sophia Barnes, Elijah, Jonah, and Joelle Barnes; and one great-grandchild, Cullen Geiger.
