Obituary

Angelina Margeotes (nee Scaduto) was a beloved mother and grandmother. She passed peacefully on January 29th with family by her side. Angelina, was born in Newark to the late Philip and Mary Scaduto (nee Lipani). After graduating from Central High School, Angelina met her husband and the love of her life, Arthur, while working as an administrative assistant at Johnson Letter Company. Arthur passed in 2008. Later in life she worked as an admitting clerk for Mountainside Hospital. Angelina was a member of the September Club at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, as well as the Brookdale Womens Club. She was passionate about shopping, and loved dancing, and dining out, especially with her husband and their friends. Angelina enjoyed their trips to Skytop Lodge in PA and Avalon NJ. What Angelina treasured most was time with her family. She took joy in her grandchildren. She was known fondly as “Grandmas Babysitting Service”. Angelina was also a homemaker who loved to eat and cook for her family, entertaining, hosting holidays, and sending food home with everyone. Angelina always spoke her mind, and was self-reliant, especially in her later years after her husband passed. She often joked that she could drive any type of vehicle, even a manual transmission. Whenever someone got a new car she got right behind the wheel and took it for a test ride. She will be missed by many. Angelina leaves behind her daughter Stella Toncic and her husband Rick; son Arthur G. Margeotes and his wife Michele DOnofrio; brothers Dominick and Joseph Scaduto; grandchildren Michael G. Seiler, Jason Margeotes, Krystyn Margeotes; and many nieces and nephews. A private entombment will be held at Glendale Cemetery. Donations in Angelinas memory may be made to Hospice of New Jersey, 400 Broadacres Drive, Bloomfield, NJ 07009, 973-893-0818. Other NJ

So sorry to hear our friend Angie has passed from this earth. We are sure she's with her God and Savior now. We will hold onto our many fond memories we have of Angie in the September Club. She always had a smile on her face, laughed quickly, and was a pleasure to be around. Sending our sincere condolences to Angie's Family.
Till we meet again, Angie -
Fran Gardella, President of the St Thomas The Apostle September ClubSandi Stefanelli & Anna D'Alessio, September Club Buddies
