I have so many fun memories of Carmine growing up. I remember standing on the side runner of his VW beetle as he pulled in the driveway coming home from work on a summer night. I remember looking in the paper with the horses that were running that night at the track and Carmine would let me pick out a horse to place the bet! And I was always greeting with such a kind friendly "Hello, Nan" with a genuine smile. Carmine was a great dad, husband, and a friend. He will be missed!<br>-Nancy Stazzone

We are so sorry for the loss of Carmine. I have been getting a haircut from Carmine since I was 16 years old and now I am 66 years old. I have very fond memories talking with Carmine throughout the years. Both of my sons have gotten their very first haircuts by Carmine. We even took a video of it and we loved when Carmine said " How nice you look." He always was kind to his customers. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Napolitano Family during this difficult time. Paul, Marianne, Philip and Paul Jr. Ross.

I first met Carmine in Spring 1970, I had real long hair and needed a haircut to try for South Junior HS baseball team. I had him cut my hair ever since. And even now, as I am nearly bald,, he still was great person &amp; personality. I am sorry for The Napolitano families loss... we've all lost a wonderful man.. God Bless Carmine

My father started taking me to get a haircut from Carmine when I was about 6 years old. I remember the lollipops. I am now 52. Even though I moved from Bloomfield to the New Brunswick area in 1991, I always looked forward to making the trip up the parkway. Carmine always asked about my father and the travels from my job. Of course, when the shop was full (as usual) on Saturdays, I sometimes had the pleasure of getting a haircut from another good guy, his son. Unknowingly, I called the shop today to make an appointment. Rest in Peace, Carmine.

Carmine was a truly remarkable person, and my two brothers, as well as my dad and I always looked forward to getting our haircuts from him since we started going to his shop about 15 years ago—when my brothers and I were just kids (I am now in my late 20s). It was amazing how well he always remembered what was going on in each of our lives, and how authentically he cared that we were all doing well. I remember always being so inspired by his stories of coming to America as a kid without knowing any English, and making a whole life for himself and his wonderful family through his hard work and determination. His unrelenting positive attitude and care for others will always stick with me. I was so saddened by the news of his passing, and am keeping Carmine and the whole Napolitano family in my thoughts and prayers.
