God called back his angel (Maryrita) on Tuesday April 14, 2020. Mom passed away peacefully and is with God now. Maryrita was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Joseph of 43 years who passed away June 1996 and her 3 sons Joseph, Thomas, and Michael. Michael passed away during childbirth and never experienced the joy of her love. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother to many. She always looked forward to the family gatherings. She enjoyed the practical jokes played on her with a loving smile and a hearty laugh. Her house was filled with love and a place where everyone felt safe. She greeted everyone with a smile and a hug especially when you needed one. Everyone was welcomed all the neighborhood kids thought of her as a second mom. Maryrita will be fondly missed by family and friends. The poem expresses how would she and all of us will remember her.
