Obituary
Ethel Slater, of Bloomfield, passed away on August 6, 2019. She was 94. Sewing and traveling were some of the things Ethel enjoyed in life. She was a volunteer at Clara Maas hospital. Most importantly, Ethel loved her family. Ethel was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Robert Slater. She leaves behind her daughter Susan Slater; her son Bob Slater and his wife Pat; and grandson Robert; great-grandchildren, George and Christian. Friends and family may visit on Friday, August 9, 2019, from 10 to 11 am at Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad St. in Bloomfield. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home following the visitation. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
