I moved onto the block in 1985 and from the beginning George and Millie were warm and welcoming. Through the years they became friends. My husband and George were pals. I remember Millie always so bright, beautiful inside and out and so vibrant. Millie would help everyone on the block. Millie was kind to every young child that moved into the hood through the years. When you looked into Millie's eyes, even at 99, you saw the twinkle of a young woman and someone who was so kind, loving and giving. Millie will be missed and always remembered. The pain of living in a neighborhood for so long is having to see neighbors who have become friends and almost family leave us.<br>We love you Millie,Mary Ann &amp; Anthony

Georgann, Donna Marie, Nicolas,I was happy to hear you were all able to be with your mother as she transitioned to be with your father again.She was a wonderful, loving aunt and I will miss her.I hope you find peace in knowing she is with loved ones in heaven.All my love,Bobbie<br>
