Obituary
Janet Shallcross, of Bloomfield, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019. She was 87 years old. Janet worked as a food service representative in the Montclair school system for most of her life until she retired. She was an avid animal lover, adored gardening, and enjoyed working on her puzzles. Janet leaves behind a son, Kevin (Ann); four daughters - Kathy, Kim, Kelly (Tom), and Kolleen. As well as a brother, Tom; and three sisters - Rosemary, Corrine (Richard), and Dianne. Janet also leaves behind seven grandchildren - Julie, Gina, Christopher, Eric, Jessica, Anastasia, and Michael. As well as four great-grandchildren - Danielle, Ariana, Tyler, and Tanner. She also leaves behind her dearest friend Richie. A Memorial Service will be held from 12-4 pm on Friday, January 25th, 2019 at Brix Restaurant and Pizza Bar, 371 Franklin Ave, Belleville NJ 07109. Dear Mom<br>It was so difficult for me to watch you leave this world. I know you were suffering and couldn’t hang on, but I miss you. I want to you to know how blessed I feel to have such a loving, kind, considerate and selfless mom. Your strength and courage has taught me how to be strong during my own difficult times and to always keep my dignity. I will always keep your memory in my heart. I will see your beauty in every flower. I will feel your strength in every challenge and I will know your love in everything I do. Dearest the family of Janet,I am sooooo sorry for the loss of a beautiful loving, caring person..Yes she was always welcome me @ her house I have so many beautiful memories of this beautiful lady..I want to personal thank u Janet for always being a special person in my life.. I am sooo sorry that u had to suffer like that. .Now y r at peace. Xxoo. May you rest in peace Janet... It was my pleasure to always help u & I will never forget all of our great talks together.
