Obituary
Douglas R. Joseph, formerly of Bloomfield, entered into eternal life on January 23, 2019. He was 44. Douglas was a Sr. accounting manager for TDAmeritrade in Omaha. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and was an avid golfer. Douglas leaves behind his loving wife Carrie (nee Franklin); his children Robert and Charlotte; his mother Christine Joseph (nee Phillips); his brother Jason and his wife Candee; his sister Melissa Grasso and her husband Joseph; many nieces and nephews, and other family. Douglas was preceded in death by his father Robert Joseph. Friends and family may visit on January 29th from 4 - 8 pm, at Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10am on January 30th at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations in Douglas name can be made to the Special Olympics of Nebraska, 9427 F St, Omaha, NE 68127. Our prayers are with the entire family at this most difficult time. May God be with your family at this painful moment and give you comfort as you mourn the unexpected death of your loved one.
