Obituary
Isaac Gelok of Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018. He was 91. Isaac loved being with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all of his family members. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Isaac was predeceased by his wife Eleanor Diane Gelok in August of 1988. He leaves behind his son John D. Gelok and his wife Sudie; his daughters Linda Below, her husband Robert; Diane Scarpone, her husband Paul; Peggy DeLuca, her husband Joe; his sister Sadie “Dolly” Werdann; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family may visit on Friday January 4th, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad St. in Bloomfield. A funeral service will take place Saturday January 5th at 10 am, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at 11:15 am at Crest Haven Memorial Park, 750 Passaic Ave., Clifton. I met Mr,Gelok in 1960 and continued a friendship with him until a year ago..I'm so sorry that I was unable to pay my respects in December.I just today learned of his passing . He was a true gentleman..so proud of his children and his grand children...Rest easy now "IKE"...you are home now.Larry Graham
