Diane Davey

Diane Marie Davey (ne Martin), entered into eternal life August 29, 2018, lovingly surrounded by her husband and children. She was 68 years old. Born and raised in Newark, she moved to Bloomfield 40 years ago to raise her family with her husband George. Diane loved going to the beach, and was an avid knitter, but above all,spending time with her family was her most cherished activity. She leaves behind her husband George: their three children Lisa Italiano and her husband Phil, Patricia Davey-Nigro, and Michael Davey and his wife Elisa. Diane was most proud of her role as Grandma and leaves behind five grandchildren Christopher, Philip, Jayson, Abigail and Michael Jr. Friends and family may visit at Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad St, in Bloomfield, on Friday, August 31st, from 4 to 8 pm, at which time the services will be concluded.
