Regina Biunno

Regina M. Biunno, formally of Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, July 20th 2018. She was 93. Regina was a substitute teacher in Bloomfield and Newark, but was best known as a homemaker. She loved knitting, sewing, and above all things helping people. Regina was predeceased by her husband Vincent Biunno. She leaves behind a son, Vincent Biunno and his wife Mary, a daughter, Lucia Biunno, two grandchildren, Daria Valenzano and her husband Jeffrey, Vincent Biunno and his wife Michelle, and two great-grandchildren, Lillian and Dominic Valenzano. Regina also leaves behind a sister Alice Mattia, a sister in law Janet Griffing, as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, July 26th, from 8 to 9 am at Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad St in Bloomfield. A funeral mass will be held at 10am, at St Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Ave in Bloomfield, after which the services will be concluded.
