Obituary
Louise Shandley, of Bloomfield, entered into eternal life on Monday, December 4th, 2017. She was 76. Louise was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandma and gammy. She enjoyed going to the casino, and spending countless hours with her sister for whom the two were inseparable. Louise was predeceased by her husband William; her parents, Antonio and Assunta Greco; and a mother-in-law, Jewel Shandley. Louise leaves behind two children; Lori and her husband Silvio, Billy Shandley and his wife Victoria; a sister Agnes Garretson; a brother Joseph Greco and his wife Joyce, three grandchildren, Vincent, Nicholas, and Samantha; two nieces; Gina and her husband Paul, Rosemarie and her husband Paul, two nephews Kevin, his wife Aubrie, Tony and his wife Janet; and great nieces and nephews Christina, Nicole, Michael, and Greyson. Family and friends may visit Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad St. in Bloomfield, from 2 pm to 8 pm on Friday December 8th, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Ave in Bloomfield on Saturday December 9th at 10 am. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. I just read that Louise passed away. I always admired her wonderful spirit, humor andwork ethic.
