Lydia Shattes

Lydia A. Shattes, of Bloomfield entered into eternal life on Wednesday Sept 23, 2015. She was 87. Lydia was a member of the Watchung Presbyterian Church, a loving wife of 55 years, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Lydia leaves behind her husband Walter Shattes, their sons Stephen Shattes and his wife Phyllis, and David Shattes and his wife Leslie. Lydia also leaves behind a granddaughter Barbara and her husband Paul Schiraldi, as well as two great-grandchildren, Alexandria, and Nicholas. A memorial service will be held on Sunday September 27, at 11:45, at Watchung Presbyterian Church, 375 Watchung Ave, in Bloomfield. Lydia will also be mentioned at the 10:30 service, prior to the memorial service.
