I was grieved to read of Sam's passing. Sam and I worked together at T.W.A in JFK, NYC, and EWR. Sam was always such a gentleman and gentle man. In Christian Friendship and God's blessings.4

To Steve & Ginny,I am vacationing in Colorado right now with my family and am hearing of the passing of your Dad. My deepest condolences go out to both of you in your period of mourning. Your Dad was one of the sweetest men I've come to know during my years at St. Thomas. He always had a warm greeting, a beautiful smile, and a something good to say whenever I saw him. I remember the time when I found out he was a Navy man and asked if he was therefore going on the St. Thomas fishing trip. He just laughed and said he couldn't stand fishing and hadn't been on a boat since his stint in the Navy. I will not be home in time for his funeral Mass, but please know that I will say a prayer for all of you and him on Tuesday. John Barbetta and Family
