Joan Calhoun

Joan Alice Calhoun, 89, of Cedar Grove NJ, passed away peacefully December 12, 2014. Born in South Shields England to Thomas and Georgina Watson she came to the United States at 6 months old and spent most of her life in Lyndhurst and Bloomfield NJ. She worked for many years at PNC Bank. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Calhoun. She is survived by her sons, Kevin, Craig and his wife Heather, and three grandchildren Shawna, Zachary, and Joshua. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th from 4 to 8:30pm, at Halpin - Bitecola Brookdale Funeral & Cremation Service, 1284 Broad Street, in Bloomfield. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 15th at 9:00am, with interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
