Kathleen Vogel

Kathleen J. (nee Thompson) Vogel of Bloomfield passed away on Monday April 28, 2014 at the age of 82. She was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey to the late John and Kathleen (nee Coyle) Thompson. She had lived in Bloomfield for 52 years. Kathleen was a payroll specialist for ADP in Clifton, N.J. for 24 years. After that she had worked for Bear-Sterns in Whippany, N.J. for 5 years, retiring in 1997. Kathleen enjoyed bowling, ceramics and swimming at the YMCA in Montclair. Mrs. Vogel was the beloved wife of the late Carl R. Vogel; devoted mother of Michael C. Vogel, Robert J. Vogel & his wife Donna, Stephen R Vogel & his wife Holli, and Linda Kennedy & her husband John; dear sister of the late James Thompson and the late Patricia Dunbar; cherished grandmother of Scott, Ryan, Rachel, Juliana, Shannon and Erin. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation from Frank Halpin's Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad Street, Bloomfield, N.J. on Tuesday, April 29th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services and burial will be private.
