Eileen Healy

Eileen Marie Healy of Bloomfied passed away on Monday February 24, 2014 at the age of 89. Born in Newark she had lived in Bloomfield for over 50 years. She was a secretary with Fidelity Bank in Newark, for many years and then for the U.S. Government for several years prior to her retirement. Eileen was a Navy Veteran of WWII. Eileen is predeceased by her parents, Bernard F. & Catherine M. (nee Briscoe) Healy; her sister Catherine Frances Healy; brothers, Joseph and John Healy. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Joseph, Edmund, James and Catherine Healy, Mary Chris Kelly, Patricia Simmonds, and Margaret Marcinko. Visitation will be at Frank Halpin's Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad Street, Bloomfield on Wednesday from 4 - 7 pm. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday at 9:00 am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Avenue, Bloomfield at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.
