Leno Peruzzi

Leno Peruzzi, a beloved figure in the Bloomfield community and a cherished family member, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, at the age of 93. Born on March 4, 1931, Leno was known for his kind-hearted, welcoming nature and his passion for fixing cars as a freelance mechanic. He dedicated his life to his craft, bringing joy and satisfaction to many who sought his expertise. A devoted family man, Leno is survived by his daughter, Michele Crecca, and her husband, Paul Crecca. He also leaves behind his daughter, Patricia Jimenez, along with his grandchildren, Jonathan Crecca, Gina Jimenez, and Brandon Jimenez. He was a proud great-grandfather to Jameson Crecca and Kingston Arthur, who brought him much happiness. Leno's sister, Gloria Grohs, also remains to carry forward the memories of their time together. Leno was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carmela Peruzzi, who was an integral part of his life. Together, they built a family and created memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew them. His visitation will be held on November 30, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Halpin-Bitecola-Brookdale Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 1284 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM on the same day. Leno will be laid to rest at Bloomfield Cemetery, 383 Belleville Ave, Bloomfield, NJ 07003, with the burial commencing at 12:30 PM. Leno Peruzzi will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, but his spirit and the impact he made will undoubtedly live on through his family and friends.
