Mary Santora

Mary Beth (nee Ganning) Santora passed away on Wednesday March 20, 2013 at the age of 50. Born in Montclair, she was a lifetime resident of Bloomfield. She was the beloved wife of Sal Santora; loving mother of Danielle Targonski, and her husband Rick; Joe, Anthony, and Sal Santora; grandmother of Sophia Targonski. She was the daughter of Mary (nee Farley) Ganning, and the late Edward Ganning; sister of Joseph Ganning and his wife Judith, Michael Ganning, John Ganning and his wife Carol, and the late Ned Ganning. She was the daughter in law of Angie Santora, and the late Joe Santora; sister in law of Mary Ann and Mark Wieseltier, and Helen and Jack Lavelle. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She devoted her life to: working in the restaurant industry, watching her kids play sports, making creative arts and crafts, and walking her dog, Daisy. Visitation will be at Frank Halpin's Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad Street, Bloomfield on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday at 9:00 am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Avenue, Bloomfield at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. In lieu of flowers donations please make donations in Mary Beth's memory of the Santora Children's Education Fund.
