Paul Drexler, born November 11, 1942, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025. He will be remembered for the warmth and kindness he shared with all who knew him.
Paul was a man with an immeasurable amount of love and integrity. He spent over 50 years working as a printer, as well as owning his own business, Drexler Printing Services.
Paul enjoyed watching the NY Yankees, and gardening. He took great pleasure spending time in Sea Girt, where he would go fishing, crabbing, and could be found relaxing down the shore. His greatest love was his family. They were truly his world.
Paul’s life was marked by quiet strength and devotion to those around him. He leaves behind his beloved wife of over 60 years, Shirley Drexler; daughter, Suzanne Garrison (John); son, Paul Drexler (Heather); brothers, Dennis Drexler (Ginny), John Drexler (Donna); sister, Susan Drexler; his beloved grandchildren, John Paul, Kaylee, Emily, Katherine, and Ryan; sisters-in-law, Angie Wright, Rose Marie Caponegro, and Barbara Scillia. His memory will remain cherished by all who were privileged to know him.
He was predeceased by his loving parents Paul and Katherine Drexler; mother-in-law and father-in-law; Nicholas and Elizabeth Zarro; brothers-in-law, George Wright, Joseph Caponegro, Robert Zarro, and Rocco Zarro; sister-in-law, Dolores Zarro.
Family, friends, and acquaintances are invited to honor Paul’s life and legacy with the following services:
Visitation will be held at the Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home, located at 1284 Broad Street, Bloomfield, New Jersey, on January 4, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 in the evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning, January 5, 2026, at 9:30 AM at St. Thomas The Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Avenue, Bloomfield, New Jersey. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, New Jersey, at 11:15 AM.
