Gerald A. Oliver, age 76, was born in Newark, New Jersey. A proud patriot, devoted family man, and dedicated worker, Gerald lived a life centered on love, loyalty, and service.

Gerald proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1972, a commitment that reflected his deep patriotism and sense of duty. Following his military service, he built a strong work ethic and career. Prior to spending many years as a Facility Operations Manager at General Plastics Corp S.A., where he was known as a hardworking and dedicated employee, Gerald worked at Wallace & Tiernan as a Project Coordinator in Plant Engineering, and Supervisor of Maintenance for many years until the company moved.

Gerald was married to the love of his life, Debra Ann Oliver, for 52 years. Together they built a family that was the center of his world. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra; his daughter, Nancy Araujo (Victor); and his god-daughter, Athena Jordan (Justin). He is also survived by his brother, Richie Oliver (Maria), and his sister, Rosemarie Hicks; in-laws, Rosemary Oliver, Kaye Oliver, Rick Adams, Mildred Oliver, and Billy Hahn; sisters-in-laws, Marylou and Donna Tuminelli; many beloved nieces and nephews.

Gerald was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Carmela Oliver; siblings: Marlene Oliver; Ralph Oliver, Nelson Oliver, Catherine Adams, Angela Bambo; Maryann Nardone; Martin Oliver, Alan Oliver, Julia Hahn, Alice Feraco and husband Pat, and Mike Hicks; Mother and Father-in law Benjamin and Helen Tuminelli; sister-in-law Mabel Tuminelli; brother-in-law, Charles Tuminelli; and his best buddy, his dog Harley.

Above all else, Gerald was a family man. He did everything for his family and cherished every moment spent with them. He enjoyed relaxing at home, especially watching television, and was a devoted fan of The Sopranos. His strength, generosity, and unwavering love will be remembered always.

Gerald A. Oliver will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
