Esther Romero

Esther M. Romero, beloved homemaker and cherished wife, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, at the age of 85. Born on February 22, 1941, in Victoria de las tunas, Cuba, Esther was the daughter of Antonio Veiga and Louisa (Rivas) Veiga.

Esther was a woman of warmth and vivacity, known for her radiant personality and infectious laughter. She delighted in sharing stories and was an avid fan of soap operas, often embracing family time as her most treasured moments. A mischievous prankster at heart, she brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her love for dining out and visiting friends reflected her vibrant spirit and devotion to relationships.

Esther was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Frank Romero, for 47 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love, humor, and companionship. She is survived by her cherished daughter Esther and her wife Elizabeth, also survived by one niece, who was a daughter to her.
Her passing is deeply mourned by all who had the privilege to know her, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
