Norith Tica

Norith Tica, a devoted mother, loving wife, and accomplished engineer, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, in Passaic, New Jersey, at the age of 70.

Born on December 25, 1955, in San Martin, Peru, Norith was the cherished daughter of Jorge Sanchez Lozano and Gulnara Rios Ramirez. She was raised alongside her brothers Buenaventura, Javier, Rolando, and Aleli Rios, and her sister Enith Sanchez. Throughout her life, Norith remained deeply connected to her family and, carrying the warmth and strength in all she did.

Norith built a successful career as a chemical engineer, a testament to her intelligence, creativity, and unwavering dedication. She loved to build things and express her creative spirit, finding joy in flower gardening and staying current with the world through social media, especially TikTok. Known for her fashionable style and caring nature, she was considered the best mom by her children, always placing family above all else.

She was married for 22 years to her beloved husband, Julio Tica, who predeceased her. Together, they raised a wonderful family. Norith is survived by her daughter Giezy Pinedo Sanchez, along with her husband William Ramirez; her son Jorge Pinedo and his wife Emily Miranda; her son Joshua Tica. She was a proud grandmother to Christina, Audrey, Ayla, and Alana, and the loving aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Norith’s legacy of love, creativity, and care will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, a compassionate soul, and a bright light in the lives of her family and friends.
