Jean Ruth Bradley, a beloved member of her community and devoted family matriarch, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, in Nashua, New Hampshire, at the age of 102. Born on February 18, 1924, in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Frederick Samuel Rowe Sr. and Mable Marguerite Rowe (nee Jaques).
Jean was a dedicated executive secretary and administrative assistant, with Westinghouse; Valley National Bank, where she was known for her professionalism and attention to detail. Beyond her career, she had a vibrant spirit and a wide array of interests. She was an avid reader of current events and newspapers, deeply engaged in the world around her. She enjoyed playing bridge and received recognition for her skills. Her love for sports was broad and heartfelt, reflecting a lifelong enthusiasm that enriched her days.
Jean’s community involvement was notable, especially through her participation in various bridge clubs and a mother’s club that sponsored international children, demonstrating her commitment to service and global friendship.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bradley; her brother, Capt. Frederick S. Rowe Jr.; and her nephew, Frederick S. Rowe III.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Linda Dumansky, Cynthia Teague, and Ruth Lawes; her grandchildren, Terry Dumansky, Lisa Dumansky, Sarah Dumansky, Grace Lawes, Claire Lyczewski, Ryan Lawes, R. David Teague, Stephanie Hostetter, and Christianne Teague; and her great-grandchildren, Cora Kilfara, Silas Dumansky, Zofia Lyczewski, Daniel Lyczewski, David Lyczewski, and Jonah Lyczewski. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including her cherished niece, Terry Peck.
Throughout her life, Jean cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nurturing bonds that crossed generations.
