Teodosio Bobis

Teodosio D. Bobis, born on January 11, 1956, in Naga City, Philippines, passed away peacefully on August 28 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Teodosio dedicated much of his life to his career as an industrial mechanic. Known for his exceptional skills and expertise, he earned a reputation as the best mechanic in the community, always eager to lend a hand to anyone need. His passion for fixing cars was matched only by his love for helping others, reflecting a personality that was outgoing and giving. In addition to his career, Teodosio enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him joy. Teodosio loved to smoke. He was known as the 'buffet king,' relishing every opportunity to indulge in hot pot dining and seafood restaurants, creating cherished culinary experiences. An avid driver, he loved taking long-distance road trips and visiting the casino, where he often found thrill and excitement. Above all, Teodosio took great pride in his family. He was a devoted husband to Gliceria Bobis, with whom he shared 47 wonderful years of marriage. As a proud father, he cherished his role in the lives of his children, including daughters Carmela Tanaquin, Clarissa Astudillo, and Marie Cielo Talingdan, along with their respective spouses, Anthony Tanaquin, Sherwin Astudillo, and Ariston Talingdan; his sons, Cromwell Bobis and Carl Eugene Bobis, along with their respective spouses Christine Bobis and Irlene Bobis. His grandchildren, Carliana Bobis, Shawn Patrick Astudillo, and Cailer Isaiah Bobis, were a source of immense joy and pride in his life. Teodosio is survived by his loving wife, Gliceria; his children and their spouses; and his grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters, Margie Deleon and Corrine Bautista. He was predeceased by his father, Felimon Bobis; mother, Irene Delemios; brothers Rolando, Noel, Antonio, and Romeo Bobis; and sister, Minviluz Bobis. The visitation services for Teodosio D. Bobis will be held on August 28 and 29, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Halpin-Bitecola-Brookdale Funeral & Cremation Services in Bloomfield, NJ. A Mass will be conducted on August 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Nutley, NJ, followed by cremation at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton, NJ at 11:30 AM. Teodosio's warm heart, contagious laughter, and generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support that will continue to inspire his family and friends for years to come.
