Elizabeth Rose Hanes, a devoted mother and beloved grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on October 2, 1943, in Queens, NY, Elizabeth radiated warmth and love throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her. As an Events Coordinator, Elizabeth dedicated herself to crafting memorable moments for others, embodying the same care and devotion she showed to her own family. Her passion for bringing people together shone through in every gathering she organized, as she found joy in creating connections and celebrations. Those who had the pleasure of working alongside her were often inspired by her unwavering commitment and her genuine enthusiasm for each event she managed. Elizabeths nurturing spirit extended beyond her career into her personal life. Her bond with her family was profound and characterized by support, laughter, and love. She cultivated a life marked by affection and understanding, with grace and resilience. Perhaps one of Elizabeth's proudest achievements was her extraordinary relationship with her granddaughter, Alison. Elizabeth adored Alison, reveling in spending time with her and honoring every moment they shared. Her warmth and affection enveloped Alison, creating memories that will forever be cherished. Elizabeth was an avid lover of simple pleasures; she enjoyed sunny days by the pool, soaking up the warmth while basking in the joy of lifes little moments. Her invigorating spirit and zest for life, shared with friends, made every outing a cherished occasion. She is preceded in death by her sister, Rosemarie Nuccio, her father, Neil Hanes, and her mother, Mary Bostonian, all of whom she held close to her heart throughout her life. Their loving influence is etched in Elizabeths legacy of compassion and strength. Elizabeth Rose Hanes leaves behind her son Marc and daughter-in-law Sara, her daughter Alexis and daughter-in-law Anna, and her granddaughter Alison. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit, love, and devotion will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, cherished, and remembered always.
