Obituary
Vito Peter Zambri, a resident of Belleville, NJ, and previously a longtime resident of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on October 21, 2025, in Belleville, NJ, at the age of 53. Born on August 2, 1972, Vito was the cherished son of the late Vito and Antonina Zambri and a caring and loving brother to Alicia Zambri.
Vito dedicated nearly three decades of his life to the New Jersey Postal Service, where he was known for his unwavering commitment to his work and the people he served. His colleagues at the post office will remember him as a kind-hearted individual who brought laughter and joy into their daily routines. His friendly demeanor and ability to connect with others made him a favorite among both staff and customers.
Outside of his professional life, Vito was a man of simple pleasures. He found joy in the company of his family, cherishing time spent with his sister Alicia and her significant other Karl, and his cousins on both sides of the family, and was grateful to have recently reconnected with his uncle, Peter Zambri. Vito's family was the cornerstone of his life, and he was a constant source of strength and warmth for them.
Besides movies and music, Vito's interests extended to the digital world, where he enjoyed casual online gaming, including his favorite, Monopoly. This provided a means for relaxation when he needed it most. He also loved cats and cared for quite a few in his lifetime.
Those who knew Vito would describe him as exceptionally kind and caring. His sense of humor was infectious, and he had a unique ability to lighten the mood and make people feel at ease.
Vito's departure leaves behind a legacy of kindness, camaraderie, and a life well-lived. He will be deeply missed by his family, including his sister Alicia and her significant other Karl, his uncle Peter, his aunt Kathy and her husband Ron, his Uncle Maurice and Aunt Lorena, his Uncle Lonnie, his cousins Michael, David, Steven, Leslie, Jeffrey, Brooke, Tara, Courtney, Tiffany, Marcus, Victoria, and Maurice Jr. Vito's memory will also be treasured by his colleagues, and the countless lives he touched with his warm spirit.
As we say goodbye to Vito Zambri, we celebrate a life that exemplified the best of human virtues: kindness, humor, and friendliness. His presence will be greatly missed, but the impact of his life will continue to be felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
