Rodney France

Rodney (Roddy) K. France, aged 69, of Garfield, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026. Born on June 21, 1956, in Hopewell, Virginia, Roddy was the cherished son of Jack France and Peggy (née Coleman) France.

Roddy was a devoted family man who treasured spending time with his grandson and was known for his love of classic cars and classic rock music. His warm spirit and dedication to family were evident to all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (née Meyer) France; daughter, Kimberley Cozzarelli and her husband Vincent; grandson Gianni, son, Jonathan France and his wife Nicole; sister, Cindy Adams and her husband Don, brother, Jeffrey France and his wife Lynn; and nieces and nephews, Stacey Turner, Joe Swidrak and Jamie Lynn Zanfardino.

Family, friends, and all who knew Roddy are invited to honor his memory at a memorial service to be held on May 12, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Halpin - Bitecola Brookdale Funeral and Cremation Service, located at 1284 Broad Street, Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
