From my early childhood, I remember my dad being very hard working. He not only worked hard at work but also was diligent in others things. He would teach me to work hard and push through. Dad has always been an advocate for thinking positive. He would always tell me if I was sick to say, “I AM getting better.” I also remember him being handy with projects even waking up early in the morning on weekends to work on them. My last conversation with him, I mentioned how I made something for the house and he said, “You’re handy like me?” I will not forget all he taught me and how he shaped me to who I am today.
